PLANTA - The ideal protection against erosion

With our PLANTA erosion control mat, also known as "erosion control fleece" or "erosion control fabric," you can protect your soil from erosion in the long term. This product is more than just a protective mat. Robust and durable, it helps protect your soil for a lifespan of three to five years.

Materials and areas of application

PLANTA is made from 100% pure coconut fiber twine and represents an extremely sustainable choice, as the mat is chemically untreated and completely biodegradable. This erosion control mat offers effective surface erosion protection in exposed and erosion-prone areas, particularly in construction projects and along watercourses. It is also ideally suited for slope and embankment stabilization in exposed terrain and hydraulic engineering projects, as well as for bank stabilization.

Easy installation

Laying the PLANTA mats couldn't be simpler. Just lay them flat on the prepared ground, ensuring there are no gaps. Only the ends need to be buried or otherwise secured to prevent the coconut fiber matting from shifting. Laying PLANTA mats perpendicular to the slope, overlapping them side by side, with an overlap of approximately 10-20 cm at the longitudinal joints and 20-30 cm at the transverse joints. With 40 warps and 35 wefts per meter, the mat offers a dense and robust weave for maximum protection.
