Reliable protection from wind and weather – with robust tarpaulins and protective covers.
Ideal for garden furniture, vehicles, equipment and more – weatherproof, tear-resistant and durable.

Tarpaulins & Protective Covers – Well protected in any weather

Tarpaulins are versatile helpers when it comes to protecting objects and surfaces from the elements, dirt, or mechanical stress. Whether in the garden, on the construction site, while camping, or in commercial settings – everything stays securely covered with a high-quality tarpaulin. Our tarpaulins and protective covers offer effective protection against rain, wind, UV radiation, and dust, and are tear-resistant, durable, and easy to attach.

What are tarpaulins used for?

Tarpaulins are available in various designs for numerous applications:

Firewood cover – Keeps firewood dry and protects against mold.
Sandpit, pool & trailer cover – Prevents contamination and secures transported goods.
Privacy screen & windbreak – Ideal for construction sites, gardens or campsites.
Camping & Outdoor – As a base or weather protection for tents and equipment.
Protection for vehicles & machinery – Protects cars, motorcycles or garden furniture from the elements.

What materials are tarpaulins made of?

Most of our tarpaulins are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fabric with an additional polyethylene coating. This combination makes them lightweight, water-repellent, and breathable, preventing moisture from being trapped. At the same time, the fabric ensures high tear resistance and resistance to wind and weather.

Our tarpaulins also feature:
🔹 Sewn-in edge reinforcement for added stability.
🔹 Eyelets at regular intervals to ensure secure fastening.
🔹 Reinforced corners that offer additional protection against abrasion.

What thickness of tarpaulin do I need?

The correct thickness (grammage) of the tarpaulin depends on its intended use:

Lightweight tarpaulins (80–140 g/m²) → Ideal for temporary use, e.g. as a camping groundsheet or short-term protection.
Medium tarpaulins (140–240 g/m²) → Perfect for permanent outdoor use, for example as wood coverings or for trailers.
Heavy-duty professional tarpaulins (from 240 g/m²) → Particularly resistant and durable, ideal for extreme weather conditions or industrial use.

Frequently asked questions about tarpaulins

Are all tarpaulins waterproof?
Yes, our tarpaulins are water-repellent to completely waterproof, depending on the material and coating. For lasting protection in heavy rain, we recommend a tarpaulin with a high grammage. We recommend our SUPER tarpaulin with 200 g/m² for maximum protection!

How do I securely fasten a tarpaulin?
Use the integrated eyelets with ropes, bungee cords, or cable ties to securely fasten the tarpaulin. In windy weather, the edges should be additionally weighted down.

How long do tarpaulins last?
The lifespan depends on the stress and weather conditions. High-quality tarpaulins with UV protection and reinforced edges can be used outdoors for several years.

Can I cut a tarpaulin to size?
Yes, many tarpaulins can be cut with sharp scissors. To prevent fraying, the cut edges should be sealed or reinforced with tape if necessary.
