The DURA-MAT carpet protection mat was specially developed for carpets with a pile height of approximately 5 mm or more and offers reliable protection against wear, abrasion, moisture, and dirt. Thanks to its stable, studded underside, it anchors securely in the carpet without damaging it and prevents slipping, even with heavy use. At the same time, it reliably protects you from static and electrical charges while walking and working – ideal for workspaces, home offices, and high-traffic living areas.

Made from high-quality polycarbonate, the DURA-MAT is characterized by exceptional resistance, dimensional stability, and durability. The clear, transparent surface remains smooth and visually unobtrusive even under daily use. Thanks to the pronounced nubs on the underside, this version is ideal for medium- to high-pile carpets, as it anchors securely and stays reliably in place – even under chair casters or heavy furniture.

Important tips for choosing the right mat

For carpets with a very low pile, needle-felt carpets, or hard, tightly woven carpet materials, as well as for hard floors such as laminate, wood, or tile, a mat with nubs is not suitable, as the nubs cannot grip properly. To avoid damage to the floor or mat, we recommend the DURA-MAT for hard floors in these cases.
